Reflection
“Two of our Guarari ladies had newborn babies (three and 3 ½ months old). I was so excited to meet them and cuddle them, and we had lots of opportunity to do that. We demonstrate value to these children in the way we look at them and “fight” to be the one to hold them. Fernando and I had this running teasing going on about who's babies they were: 'my baby', “no MY baby'. It touched my heart when he told me that he dedicates every baby born in to the ministry to the Lord. They are “His” babies.”

Yes, we witnessed him dedicating a baby when Lorne, Dave, Don and I were there strolling through Guarari - he stopped and took the baby in his hands and prayed for her. Wonderful that pastoral touch ... probably entirely appropriate in that situation. Lord use what our ladies have done to really deeply bless the ladies of Guarari!

Carolyn, that would have been special to see. I am praying that the contact with the Guarari Moms that you have made will give them hope in their hearts that God will provide for the future of each child.
