Reflection

"I am enjoying my experience in Costa Rica.  whether I'm helping with VBS, helping to level the ground for the cement, or playing Uno with my new friends I have seen God's love, joy, and acceptance through the people around me.  The best part is that I feel that am in an environment where I am not afraid to be myself.  I often struggle with being myself because I am afraid of what people will think of me when I am in unfamiliar surroundings with people that I don't know that well.  But I am learning to overcome that fear by God working through me and giving me encouragement from people areound me.  It's amazing how much fun you can have with people that don't even speak your language."
