Reflection

“Before I started on this missions trip I was focused on making sure I was doing this for God and accomplishing His work.  On the first two VBS days the other team members were very busy with all the kids and I was left much more free.  I saw a few kids that were left out and looked lonely, and I was pushed to go interact with them any way I could, and I would do so until I saw they were a part of the group and smiling along with the rest of the children.  Other team members talked about the children that had all grown close to and that discouraged me because I did not get to share that.  But later it sunk in that I was doing the Lord's work and realized I was blessed to be used by God and to see the children come around.  The next day God blessed me with close relations to the kids which made it very difficult to watch the children leave.  I was blessed by the Lord with this experience.”
